The Parasound Halo A 21+ is a high-current two-channel power amplifier suited to serious stereo systems and demanding audiophile installations. Housed in a 5U chassis weighing 88 lbs net, it drives 300 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 500 watts per channel into 4 ohms with both channels operating simultaneously, and scales to 1,000 watts into 8 ohms in bridged mono mode. It accepts both balanced XLR and unbalanced inputs.

The A 21+ draws up to 60 amps peak per channel and holds distortion to 0.1 percent THD. Frequency response spans 5 Hz to 100 kHz with no more than 3 dB rolloff, tightening to plus or minus 0.25 dB across the full audio band. Signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 115 dB IHF A-weighted. Channel separation is greater than 80 dB at 1 kHz. Gain is 29 dB, input sensitivity is 1V for both balanced and unbalanced connections, and the balanced input impedance is 66 kilohms.
