Its umbrella-style mechanism opens rapidly, while the deep profile, silver interior, removable diffusion layers, and included fabric grid give photographers multiple ways to shape contrast and beam spread.

Designed for portrait, fashion, product, commercial, and studio photography, the Raja Deep provides a more directional lighting pattern than a conventional shallow softbox while maintaining broad diffusion across the subject. Photographers can use the inner baffle and front diffuser together for softer output or remove layers when greater contrast is preferred. The included grid further limits spill for more deliberate light placement.

Phottix builds the modifier with heat-resistant SL Tech material and supplies a Bowens-compatible S-mount for broad studio-light compatibility. The mounting system also accepts optional speed-ring inserts for other lighting platforms, including Elinchrom, Balcar, and Profoto. When shooting is finished, the quick-folding frame collapses for transport and stores with the supplied carrying bag.
