Pirastro 1CVSB Chromcor Violin String Set, Ball-End, 4/4 Medium

Pirastro Chromcor Violin String Set, Ball End, 4/4 Medium

The Pirastro Chromcor Violin String Set supplies four medium-gauge strings for a 4/4 violin. A chrome steel E pairs with steel-core A, D, and G strings wound with chrome steel. All four have ball ends, providing a complete replacement for instruments equipped with compatible tailpiece and fine-tuner fittings.

For students, teachers, and fiddle players choosing full size replacement strings, this package supplies the E, A, D, and G together. Musicians seeking a steel core violin set receive single-filament construction on the lower three strings. Chrome steel forms their outer winding, giving buyers a clearly specified material combination when matching a replacement to their existing setup.

Pirastro also identifies Chromcor as suitable for electric and electrically amplified violins, extending its application beyond acoustic instruments. The manufacturer designates this configuration as article 319020 and packages it in envelopes. Mittel is Pirastro's term for medium gauge. Check your violin's size and E-string attachment before installation, then use the individual article numbers to identify matching replacement strings as needed.
