Pirastro 1EPCGS Evah Pirazzi Soloist G Cello String, 4/4, Medium

Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Soloist G Cello String

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Soloist G Cello String pairs a steel rope core with tungsten winding for full-size instruments. This medium-gauge, ball-end string suits players seeking a focused lower register, sustained resonance, and responsive bowing. Manufacturer article number 332380 identifies this specific G-string configuration.

Designed for solo playing, its tonal character emphasizes a firm center, carrying power, and an extended lower-frequency spectrum. The smaller-diameter design supports fluid position changes and clear articulation. For musicians choosing a tungsten-wound replacement G string or building a full-size cello string setup, this construction offers a direct, open response.

Pirastro specifies compatibility with acoustic, electric, and electrically amplified cellos, making this option relevant to recital and amplified performance setups. The Soloist series supports prompt playability and stable tuning. Medium, labeled Mittel by the manufacturer, identifies the gauge. Brown/blue peg-end silk and green/black tailpiece silk help players recognize the correct string during installation.
