Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Viola String Set, 4/4 - Heavy

Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Viola String Set

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Viola String Set provides A, D, G, and C strings for 4/4 instruments, with Light, Medium, and Heavy gauge options. The standard configuration pairs a steel A string with synthetic-core lower strings, giving violists a complete replacement set with a choice of string tension.

For players choosing a full-size viola string set, this umbrella listing brings three gauges into one selection. Light carries the labels Weich and Dolce, while Heavy uses Stark and Forte; Medium corresponds to Mittel. Compare the tension figures below when selecting replacement strings for your viola, and match the gauge to your preferred setup.

Material and attachment details also help guide your choice. The A uses chrome-steel winding, D and G use silver, and C uses tungsten-silver. Ball ends provide tailpiece attachment, and the steel A features a removable ball. This configuration also supports electric viola applications, including instruments fitted with piezo pickups that convert string vibration into an electrical signal.
