Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin A String - 4/4 / Heavy / Envelope

Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin A String With Aluminum Winding

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin A String combines a synthetic multifilament core with aluminum winding and a ball-end attachment. Envelope options cover 4/4, 3/4–1/2, and 1/4–1/8 violins. Full-size envelope versions offer Light, Medium, or Heavy gauge, while fractional sizes and the straight-packaged 4/4 tube option come in Medium only.

For students, teachers, and performing musicians choosing a replacement A string, six configurations distinguish instrument size, gauge, and packaging. Select full size violin strings in your preferred envelope gauge, or choose a fractional violin replacement for the appropriate size group. The tube version supplies a straight string for players who prefer that storage and delivery format.

Multifilament construction uses multiple synthetic fibers beneath the aluminum wrapping. Every configuration retains the same core-material type, winding metal, and ball fitting for compatible tailpiece hardware. Gauge changes identify different string specifications; packaging distinguishes envelope delivery from straight storage in a tube. Pirastro publishes matching construction and tension for both 4/4 Medium formats. Check the manufacturer article number to identify the exact replacement when ordering.
