Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin D String - 4/4 / Heavy / Envelope

Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin G String With Silver Winding

The Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Violin G String combines a synthetic multifilament core with silver winding and a ball-end attachment. Envelope options cover 4/4, 3/4–1/2, and 1/4–1/8 instruments. Full-size envelope strings offer Light, Medium, or Heavy gauge; fractional options and the 4/4 straight tube version come in Medium only.

For students, teachers, and performing violinists choosing a replacement G string, the available combinations accommodate different instrument sizes and gauge preferences. Select full size violin strings in one of three envelope gauges, or choose a fractional violin replacement in the matching size group. Tube packaging supplies the full-length, straight version for players who prefer that storage format.

Multifilament construction uses multiple synthetic fibers beneath the metal wrapping. Every option retains silver winding and a ball fitting for compatible tailpiece hardware. Size and gauge identify the string configuration; packaging distinguishes envelope delivery from straight storage in a tube. Pirastro publishes matching construction and tension for the two 4/4 Medium formats. Use the individual manufacturer article number to identify your preferred replacement accurately.
