Pirastro SRPKL KorfkerRest Viola Shoulder Rest With Adjustable Maple Body

Pirastro KorfkerRest Viola Shoulder Rest

The Pirastro KorfkerRest Viola Shoulder Rest provides adjustable support through a bendable maple body and independently adjustable legs. Players can change its contour, position, height, and tilt to suit their setup. The included ErgoPack adds fitting options, while the lightweight construction keeps added weight to approximately 0.1 lb.

For violists seeking an adjustable wooden shoulder rest, this design offers control over both shoulder contact and instrument positioning. Shape the maple carefully to follow your shoulder, then refine the leg settings to establish your preferred playing angle. This customizable support for viola suits players who want to fine-tune their setup for practice, rehearsals, and performances. Rubber pads cushion the contact area against the player.

Pirastro identifies this viola version as article 700020 and provides a printed manual with fitting and maintenance guidance. The standard configuration accommodates lower-bout widths, measured across the instrument's wider lower body, of 9.3 to 9.6 inches. Included adjustment joints support additional sizes and positions. Replaceable rubber pads, locking rings, and a supplied Torx key help players maintain the assembly and adjust its hardware.
