The SB-1's design starts with a standard 1/4-inch instrument input and a thru-put to feed your tuner or on-stage amp. The ultra-quiet active circuit immediately converts your signal from high to low impedance, minimizing noise and ensuring a clear, crisp sound. The signal is then balanced and buffered for long cable runs to the PA system. Powered by 48V phantom power, the SB-1 eliminates the need for batteries or external power supplies—just plug it in and you're ready to perform.
The active circuit boasts an 800k-ohm input impedance, eliminating loading problems and delivering extra sparkle to the top-end frequencies, making it perfect for vintage guitars with low-output pickups.
