Remote Audio BDSHQCS2 Hi-Q SmartCup to Dual TA4F Smart Data and BDS Cable

One Hi-Q battery can power an entire bag and report its status to a Sound Devices recorder with the BDSHQCS2. This Remote Audio designed double-cable SmartCup runs from a Hi-Q battery cup to two TA4 connectors.

The red-marked cable carries 4-wire smart data and power to a Sound Devices 833, 888 or Scorpio, while the second 2-wire cable, labeled BDS Power Only, feeds a BDS and everything connected to it. The recorder can then display battery data, including total current drawn by all the equipment.

Remote Audio cautions that the red data/power cable should not be plugged into the BDS, as doing so could harm the Hi-Q battery's data circuit.
