Remote Audio BDSv5 SMART Battery Distribution Box, 8 Barrel Outputs, Dual TA4

Swapping a dead battery without shutting down the bag is the headline feature of the BDSv5 SMART, the next generation of the Remote Audio BDS. Dual TA4 inputs with an integrated power path controller let you pull one battery and insert a fresh one while the other keeps the outputs running, and input priority or load sharing can be selected in the menu.

This Standard version provides eight 5.5mm barrel-jack outputs (2.5mm pin, center positive) in two banks: Bank A with two jacks fused at 5A combined and a switched/unswitched selector, and Bank B with six switched jacks fused at 10A combined. Total load current reaches up to 12A, with dynamic current limiting and warnings based on the connected source.

A 0.95 in color OLED shows battery voltage, state of charge and estimated runtime, plus cycle count, temperature and serial number from smart batteries such as Remote Audio's Hi-Q 49Wh and 98Wh. Settings include screen flip, input priority, a SAFE Switch confirm function, display and USB sleep, and Celsius readout, and a USB-A charging port supports BC1.2 and QC 3.0 at up to 3A.
