Remote Audio CAXJ12LPF Low-Profile XLR3F to XLR3M Jumper Cable 12 in

Standard XLR shells can make a shotgun microphone too long for a blimp or windshield. Remote Audio solves that with a low-profile XLR3 female connector, and the CAXJ12LPF puts one on a balanced 12 in jumper that ends in a standard XLR3 male.

The low-profile female plugs onto the back of the microphone and turns the cable right away, saving length inside a shock mount or wind protection system. The straight male end then connects to the boom pole, transmitter or recorder input as usual.
