For a stereo feed that has to travel across a set, a short breakout will not reach. The CAXSTE25 carries a 5-pin XLR stereo signal 25 feet before splitting to two XLR3M connectors.

The XLR5F end connects to a stereo source such as a mixer output, and the 5 inch fan at the far end delivers left and right on separate XLR3M plugs. Balanced wiring keeps both channels quiet over the longer run.

It is the long version of Remote Audio's CAXSTE breakout.
