The adapter plugs into the headset's TA5F on a TA5M connector and splits out to a 3.5mm TRRS plug with Apple standard wiring. Remote Audio states the wiring works with Apple devices, Samsung, and most Android phones.

At 6 in long it stays compact in a bag or on a cart, and it keeps the headset itself generic so the same unit can move between mixers by changing only the adapter.
