Equipment that quits as a lead-acid battery sags is exactly the problem the Juicer solves. It provides a regulated 15VDC output from any input between 9 and 18VDC, so gear keeps running even after the battery has dropped well below 12 volts.

It also isolates the input from the output, making it safe for Nagra analog recorders to share a common power source with other devices, and it can break ground loops caused by shared cart power. Placed between a battery and sensitive equipment, it lets you keep working longer as the battery sags below 12V; Remote Audio notes some gear, such as the Cooper 106 and 108 mixers, needs at least 15V for full spec.

The JBIG15 is the higher-current version on Remote Audio's price sheet, rated at 4A, and it is built as an in-line cable with a 4-pin XLR male input and 4-pin XLR female output, about 4 ft overall.
