Remote Audio MCATT Micro Cat Miniature Lavalier Windscreen Tan

Outdoor interviews, boat shoots and windy exteriors are where a bare lav mic falls apart, and the tan Micro Cat lets the lavalier stay in play. It is a miniature fuzzy windscreen that fits over the mic head and substantially reduces wind noise without dulling the voice.

Construction is a hand-made fuzzy outer layer over two additional inner layers of open weave fabric. The elastic opening fits most lavalier microphones with diameters up to 12 mm, and even very small mics such as the Countryman B6 work well in the Micro Cat when combined with the mic foam ball.

For the lowest risk of clothing rustle, mount the Micro Cat outside clothing and fully exposed. A supplied miniature screwdriver provides a handy way to store the windscreen and helps keep it from blowing away between setups.
