The Roland P-6 AIRA Compact Creative Sampler is a pocket-size sampling workstation for recording, manipulating, sequencing, and performing original sounds. It combines 48-sample storage, 16-voice sample polyphony, four-voice granular processing, a 64-step sequencer, an onboard microphone, hands-on effects, and USB-C audio/MIDI connectivity in a battery-powered design.

Producers, beatmakers, electronic musicians, and mobile creators can capture audio through the internal microphone, analog input, or USB-C connection. Chop and Step Sampling functions quickly divide recordings for pad and keyboard playback, while chromatic triggering, resampling, dedicated filters, envelopes, probability, micro-timing, sub steps, and motion recording provide deeper composition and performance control.

Granular processing expands individual samples with parameters for detuning, grain shape, head position, head speed, and spread. Twenty multi-effects plus dedicated delay and reverb support detailed sound shaping, while Roland's P-6 SampleTool provides computer-based sample editing and transfer. MIDI, sync, stereo audio, AIRA Link, and class-compliant USB-C connectivity make the P-6 easy to integrate with portable hardware rigs and computer-based production systems.
