Patterned after the celebrated Stradivarius and Tertis professional models, the SR82 pairs a select solid spruce top with well-flamed maple back and sides, hand-finished in a warm amber/red-brown oil varnish that deepens the instrument's resonance and gives it a rich, mature voice with the projection and tonal complexity a serious player demands.
Every SR82 is hand-adjusted in the Scherl & Roth USA workshop and arrives play-ready, strung with premium Thomastik Dominant strings for warm, focused tone straight out of the case. Ebony fittings throughout, a select maple bridge, and an ebony tailpiece with a built-in fine tuner round out a setup that performs reliably in the practice room, the studio, and on stage.
