Sennheiser SKM 835-XSW-A Handheld Transmitter Microphone with e835 Capsule

Sennheiser SKM 835-XSW-A Handheld Wireless Transmitter

The Sennheiser SKM 835-XSW-A handheld wireless transmitter combines an e835 dynamic cardioid microphone capsule with an integrated UHF transmitter for live vocals, presentations, and professional speaking applications. This Band A model operates from 548 to 572 MHz and provides a focused cardioid pickup pattern that helps reduce sound arriving from the sides and rear.

Designed for singers, presenters, houses of worship, educational facilities, and live production environments, the SKM 835-XSW-A provides a straightforward way to add a handheld transmitter to a compatible XS Wireless setup. Its integrated mute switch gives performers immediate control from the microphone, while adjustable transmitter sensitivity helps accommodate different voices and performance levels. The rugged ABS housing supports frequent stage and event use without adding unnecessary weight.

The SKM 835-XSW-A delivers an 80 Hz to 16 kHz audio frequency response and 10 mW transmission power. It operates for approximately 10 hours from two AA batteries and allows transmitter sensitivity adjustment from 0 to -30 dB in 10 dB increments. The dynamic e835 capsule uses a cardioid pickup pattern suited to vocal reinforcement where controlled off-axis pickup and dependable handheld operation are important.
