Operating within the UHF spectrum, the handheld transmitter works as part of the Sennheiser Spectera ecosystem and is designed for use with a Spectera Base Station. This configuration includes a compatible microphone capsule, providing a complete handheld microphone solution ready for integration into a Spectera wireless system.

Built for demanding professional environments, the Spectera SKM combines rugged metal construction with an ergonomic handheld design and integrated OLED display. Its wideband WMAS architecture helps simplify RF planning and deployment while supporting reliable wireless performance. Continuous bidirectional transmission allows audio and control data to move between the transmitter and Spectera platform, giving operators access to important system information throughout a performance or production.

The Spectera SKM supports continuous remote monitoring of battery status, RF performance, audio levels, interference conditions, and link quality. Key microphone parameters can also be remotely controlled through the Spectera platform. Additional professional features include audio latency as low as 1.0 millisecond, AES-256 encryption, over-the-air firmware updates, and compatibility with the shared Sennheiser BA 70 rechargeable battery platform.
