Slash Signature Bridge Humbucker Tone
The Seymour Duncan APH-2B Slash bridge humbucker is voiced in collaboration with Slash to capture the searing, singing tone heard on his classic work with Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver and his solo albums. Built around an Alnico 2 bar magnet and a custom wind, this bridge pickup is designed to push a stock Les Paul–style guitar toward the sustain, crunch and midrange character associated with Slash’s original Derrig Les Paul.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the Slash Signature Model humbucker follows the same construction approach Seymour used on Slash’s original pickups in the 1980s, with a nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, paper tape and full wax potting for stability under high gain.
This APH-2B variant adds modern flexibility with Short Ear (SE) mounting legs to fit a wider range of guitar routings and allow direct mounting, plus a 4-conductor cable so you can wire in coil-splits, series/parallel options and phase switching while still retaining the core Slash voice.
