The Seymour Duncan APH-2B Slash Trembucker in nickel is the bridge humbucker designed to capture the searing rock tones that made Slash’s playing on Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, and his solo records so iconic. Developed in close collaboration with Slash, this pickup delivers the sustain, crunch, and focused midrange that push a classic single-cut guitar toward the sound of his legendary AFD-era Les Paul.
Built on the foundation of the Alnico 2 Pro platform but refined with different magnet wire and a specific winding recipe, the APH-2B Slash Trembucker balances warmth and clarity while adding extra punch and authority in the bridge position. The result is a responsive, expressive humbucker that cleans up when you roll back the volume, yet roars with harmonically rich overdrive when you dig in.
Hand-built in Santa Barbara, California, this pickup uses traditional construction methods and premium components, including a nickel silver baseplate and vintage-inspired materials, to deliver the same performance-grade tone that Slash relies on onstage and in the studio. The Trembucker spacing ensures precise string-to-pole alignment for modern tremolo-equipped guitars.
