To replicate the ferocious tone he achieved on records with Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver and his solo projects, Seymour Duncan worked closely with him to create the Slash and Slash 2.0 humbucker pickup sets for electric guitar.

The Slash 2.0 Bridge Humbucker is a hotter take on his original APH-2 signature pickups, delivering the same tonality and clarity, but with more output for live applications. Based on his APH-2 bridge model, this Alnico 2 bridge-position passive humbucker pushes your amp with an ideal balance of volume, drive and compression while maintaining the familiar feel, dynamics and musical response Slash relies on night after night.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the Slash 2.0 humbucker combines classic Seymour Duncan construction with modern versatility. A nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, paper tape and wax potting provide vintage-inspired performance, while Short Ear (SE) mounting legs and a 4-conductor cable offer broad guitar compatibility and wiring options such as coil splitting, series/parallel and phase switching.
