Based on his original APH-2 signature pickup but rewound for higher output, the Slash 2.0 delivers the same warm, singing sustain and articulate clarity while hitting your amp harder for modern live rigs and high-gain tones.
Voiced for thick, smooth leads and full, harmonically rich chords, this passive Alnico 2 neck pickup keeps the top end sweet and the low strings controlled, even with lots of gain. The zebra bobbins, short-leg mounting, and 4-conductor cable give you classic rock attitude with modern installation and wiring flexibility for coil-splits and advanced switching.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, the Slash 2.0 humbuckers are constructed with a nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, paper tape, and wax potting for reliability on stage and in the studio. This LLT (Longer Lead Time) version is made to order, so you get a fresh, USA-crafted pickup that’s ready for years of tours, sessions, and soloing.
