Shure MXA901W-R-PM-3/8-V White Ceiling Array Mic 3/8 in Rod Mount Kit

The Shure MXA901-R is a 13.5-inch round ceiling array microphone built around 85 MEMS elements, with IntelliMix DSP and Dante or AES67 networking on board and a maximum draw of 10.1 watts over PoE. Single-Zone Automatic Coverage picks up a 20 x 20 foot room with no setup and can be tightened to 10 x 10 feet, while steerable coverage mode offers up to eight independently placed pickup lobes for rooms that need them.

This order code is Shure's factory bundle of the white MXA901W-R array microphone with the A901W-R-PM-3/8IN pole mount kit in matching white, which mounts the array on 3/8-inch diameter threaded rod. Threaded rod is the least visually intrusive rigid drop for this microphone and is frequently the fastest install in a plenum that is already hung with rod, because the same stock, anchors and seismic practice already in use overhead carry the array. The kit supplies a 3/8-inch adapter and jam nut on top of the standard pole mount hardware, plus eight cable ties for dressing the Ethernet cable neatly along the rod.

The VESA bracket set screw locks rotation, so the mute status LED bar can be aimed at the room during commissioning and stays there. White cover and white microphone body keep the drop quiet under light-toned ceilings. Threaded rod and its ceiling anchor are not included.
