Shure MXA901W-R-TB-V White Ceiling Array Mic Ceiling Tile Bridge Kit

The Shure MXA901-R brings 85 MEMS microphone elements, IntelliMix DSP and Dante networking together in a 13.5-inch round disc only 1.64 inches deep, powered and connected by one PoE Ethernet run. Single-Zone Automatic Coverage handles a room up to 20 x 20 feet with no setup, adjusts down to 10 x 10 feet to keep an adjacent space out of the mix, and can be replaced with up to eight hand-steered pickup lobes when the room calls for it.

This order code is Shure's factory bundle of the white MXA901W-R array microphone with the A901-R-TB tile bridge kit, the option for installing the array into a standard suspended tile grid ceiling. The tile bridge rests on the grid's T-bars above the tile and carries the weight of the microphone off the ceiling tile itself, and the ceiling mount then installs into the bridge so the array finishes nearly flush with the tile. It fits both 24-inch and 60 cm tile grids, and the bridge position is adjustable horizontally and vertically so the microphone can be centred properly in the tile.

This is the most common architectural install for corporate meeting rooms, training rooms and classrooms, where a flush white disc in a white tile ceiling is far less conspicuous than a suspended or pole-mounted array. The mount's trim is white to match the white MXA901W-R and can be painted. Confirm the tile is between 0.375 and 1.25 inches thick with at least 2.5 inches of clear space above it before ordering; for a solid drywall ceiling, use the A901-R-HCM hard ceiling mount instead.
