The Sonance PowerZone Connect 1008 (UBX-888-025) is a 1000-watt, 8-channel DSP-enabled Class-D matrix smart amplifier engineered for commercial and residential installed audio. Powered by Pascal UMAC Class-D technology, it delivers 8 x 125 W into 4 or 8 ohms, or 4 x 250 W into 70V/100V constant-voltage lines, with intelligent power sharing that automatically distributes the full 1000 W proportionally across low-impedance and high-impedance zones. Its compact 1U form factor makes it a space-efficient powerhouse for restaurants, retail, offices, fitness studios, and whole-home audio systems.
Setup and tuning are handled through the built-in PowerZone Control web app, accessible over the network or via the amplifier's built-in wireless access point β no software install required. Full-matrix DSP configuration lets integrators route any of the analog and digital inputs to any output zone, with per-channel EQ, crossover, limiting, and delay to dial in each space. S/PDIF digital input/output, balanced and unbalanced analog inputs, and configurable GPIO give the PowerZone Connect 1008 the flexibility to integrate with virtually any source or control system.
Because it drives both conventional 4β16 ohm loudspeakers and 70V/100V transformer-coupled distributed speaker lines from the same chassis, the UBX-888-025 replaces multiple dedicated amplifiers in mixed-topology installs β reducing rack space, cabling, and cost while maintaining audiophile-grade sound quality across every zone.
