The Sony SA-SW3 is a 200W wireless subwoofer designed to pair with select Sony home theater sound bar systems, including the HT-A9, HT-A7000, and HT-A5000. It connects wirelessly, eliminating the need for a subwoofer cable between the sound bar and the bass unit, making placement within the room more flexible. The subwoofer is driven by Sony's S-Master digital amplifier technology.
The SA-SW3 is rated at 300W peak output from its single bass driver channel. It measures approximately 277 x 409 x 422 mm and weighs 13 kg, giving it the cabinet volume needed for low-frequency extension appropriate to a dedicated home theater environment. The S-Master amplifier topology operates digitally throughout the signal path.
