The SpeakerCraft AIM275-MK3 is the legend, revoiced. This 7-inch, two-way in-ceiling speaker updates one of the most celebrated architectural loudspeakers with modern voicing tuned for high-performance distributed audio and advanced object-based surround formats including Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D, and DTS:X. Its flangeless design and paintable grille let it vanish into the ceiling while delivering exceptional detail and dynamics.
The star of the AIM275-MK3 is its ARC Tweeter Array, which places four 5/8-inch Aluminum/Magnesium tweeters along a pivoting arc, fed in phase to project high frequencies farther and more precisely into the room than a traditional single-tweeter speaker. This carefully controlled dispersion pattern sharpens speech intelligibility and, with 359-degree rotational adjustability, lets integrators aim the soundfield exactly where listeners sit. Complementary WavePlane technology acts as an acoustic lens for wider, cleaner, richer highs, while the pivoting Kevlar woofer provides fast, articulate low-end.
A refined crossover using symmetrical and asymmetrical Linkwitz-Riley filtering improves phase coherence and driver blending for smoother response and greater power handling, and Acoustic Isolation Technology decouples the housing from surrounding materials to eliminate structural resonance. Timbre-matched to all FIVE Level speakers, with a deep 35Hz to 20kHz frequency response and 150-watt power handling, the AIM275-MK3 is backed by a 5-year warranty.
