The SpeakerCraft SC-BT-10 Boom Tomb is a 10-inch (250mm) in-ground subwoofer built to add deep, room-filling low frequencies to any outdoor audio system while staying completely concealed below the landscape. It buries out of sight, leaving only its low-profile canopy at grade so bass seems to rise naturally from the yard, patio or garden without disrupting the look of the space.
At its core is a waterproof HDPE enclosure made from the same material used in municipal water supply lines, so it stands up to years of moisture, freeze and thaw. A high-flow port design routes air through a port-and-canopy assembly that spreads moving air evenly in a 360-degree pattern, reducing turbulence and eliminating the annoying port noise common to lesser in-ground subs. The port is protected by an aluminum mesh grille that keeps airflow unrestricted while blocking bugs, animals and debris.
A rugged mica-injected polypropylene cone with an NBR surround handles up to 300 watts and reaches down to 30Hz, delivering tight, weather-resistant bass across a 30Hz-120Hz range at 8 ohms. The SC-BT-10 is backed by a 5-year limited warranty for long-term peace of mind in the elements.
