The SpeakerCraft SC1-IC6-AW is a 6.5" IP66-rated all-weather in-ceiling speaker built for the spaces where ordinary architectural speakers can't go — covered patios, bathrooms, poolside cabanas and other high-moisture environments. Part of the Nice Premium Toolless SC1 series, it carries forward SpeakerCraft's legacy as the inventor of architectural speakers while adding the durability needed to stand up to humidity and the elements.
The SC1 range is voiced for high-quality ambient music and everyday media throughout the home, pairing a 6.5" injected polypropylene woofer with a pivoting 1" silk-dome AccuAim tweeter. A symmetrical 2nd-order crossover network delivers consistent, reliable performance, while proprietary AccuAim technology lets the tweeter click-lock into a repeatable angle so you can aim the sound and fine-tune the sweet spot from speaker to speaker.
Installation is fast and secure thanks to the ViseLock toolless mounting system designed by Swarm, whose spring-loaded doglegs and thumb-levered cinches lock the speaker in place — up to 75% faster than traditional installs — without sagging over time. XmaG extended pole pieces keep the magnetic field consistent through the full range of woofer travel for lower distortion and cleaner output, and the speaker ships with a paintable, bezel-less stainless-steel grille that naturally resists rust.
