The SpeakerCraft SC2-IW5-LCR is a high-performance in-wall LCR loudspeaker from the Nice SC2 architectural series — an evolution of SpeakerCraft, the inventor of architectural speakers. Its left-center-right-capable design pairs dual 5.25-inch deep-anodized-aluminum woofers with a 1-inch pivoting anodized-aluminum AccuAim tweeter, delivering low distortion, exceptional dynamics, and an enhanced soundstage for home entertainment and media.
Deep-anodized-aluminum drivers and Kapton former material are lightweight and durable, lowering distortion while improving magnetic field stability. An asymmetrical crossover — a 2nd-order low-pass filter on the woofers and a 3rd-order high-pass on the tweeter — optimizes each driver's performance with improved phase alignment, and a 3-position tweeter level switch lets you fine-tune the high frequencies to the room.
The ViseLock toolless clamping system mounts the speaker up to 75% faster than traditional designs, AccuAim click-locks the tweeter to a repeatable angle for precise phase accuracy, and XmaG extended pole pieces keep response linear at all levels. A rigid metal frame minimizes resonance and transmission loss, and the paintable, bezelless stainless-steel rectangular grille resists rust naturally. The SC2-IW5-LCR works with BKT84600E pre-construction brackets.
