The SpeakerCraft WNG90224 is a set of extra-long mounting wings for SpeakerCraft InstaLLock new-construction brackets. The wings attach to the InstaLLock bracket to extend its span, letting the bracket be secured to the surrounding framing when pre-installing in-ceiling speakers during new construction.
Per the SpeakerCraft manufacturer part code (WING-INSTALLOCK, XLG, CRS8), this is the extra-large (XLG) version intended for the 8-inch (CRS8) round-series bracket application. It is a genuine SpeakerCraft replacement accessory, not a speaker.
