Its thin, lightweight design minimizes unnecessary bulk on the camera while preserving access to the higher-voltage capabilities of the attached battery.

The conversion plate is particularly suited to the RED V-Raptor XL, which requires 28.8V input to activate its onboard DC output connections. When paired with a compatible B-mount battery, the adapter powers the camera across the battery’s 21.6–33.6V operating range. Connected equipment must support input voltages up to 33.6V.
