The charger includes four KA-C10E snap-on battery plates for Canon LP-E6–type batteries. Each plate connects through a two-pin cable and releases quickly without tools. The LC-D421 platform also supports separately available interchangeable plates for selected Sony, Panasonic, Canon BP-series, and other compatible professional video batteries.
