SWIT S-4610 Portable 3G-SDI Audio Embedder

The SWIT S-4610 Portable 3G-SDI Audio Embedder inserts two channels of AES/EBU or balanced analog audio into any two positions within the first eight SDI audio channels. It accepts 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI video and provides two newly embedded SDI outputs for professional broadcast and production workflows.

Six front-panel switches select the destination audio channels without requiring software or an external controller. The S-4610 works well for field production, studio routing, transmission systems, and installations that need to combine separately sourced audio with an existing SDI video feed. When digital and analog audio are connected simultaneously, the AES/EBU source takes priority for embedding.

A unibody aluminum-alloy enclosure protects the connections in mobile environments, while bottom 1/4-inch mounting threads allow camera installation. The included mounting plate supports wall installation and cable management. Three LEDs indicate power, recognized SDI input, and successful embedding, while the 6-18V DC input supports the supplied AC adapter or compatible battery power.
