The SymplyPRO SAS Desktop LTO-8 is a professional half-height LTO tape drive in a rugged metal alloy enclosure, designed for reliable backup and archiving over its 6 Gb/s SAS interface. It targets creative and IT professionals requiring durable, long-term data storage with simple drag-and-drop file transfers via LTFS. Native transfer rates reach up to 300 MB/sec on LTO-8 media, with a 12 TB native capacity.
Featuring an internal auto-switching 110ā240 V power supply and a whisper-quiet cooling fan, the drive delivers consistent performance with minimal noise. It supports AES 256-bit hardware encryption, WORM media for compliance, and is TAA-certified. SymplyATOM macOS software is included for management, and the system carries a 3-year worldwide warranty (extendable to 5 years).
