The TC Helicon VoiceTone R1 is a studio-quality vocal reverb stompbox engineered specifically for singers who want polished, professional ambience on stage without a complex rack setup. Unlike guitar reverb pedals, the R1 is voice-tuned by TC-Helicon's vocal specialists, applying reverb algorithms optimized for the human voice so vocals sit naturally in the mix rather than washing out. A single footswitch, an intuitive style selector, and a dedicated mix knob put rich, natural-sounding reverb one tap away during any performance.
Housed in a rugged die-cast metal enclosure with a rubberized no-slip base, the R1 is built to survive the rigors of live gigging and travel. It accepts a balanced XLR input with built-in phantom power to drive condenser or dynamic microphones, and sends a clean balanced XLR output straight to the PA or mixer. Eight carefully crafted reverb styles - Hall, Plate, Theater, Club, Room, Studio, Ambience, and Arena - cover everything from intimate coffeehouse warmth to expansive concert-hall depth, letting vocalists dial in the perfect space for the room.
