The 35mm focal length is the classic "wide-standard" perspective, and its 63-degree diagonal angle of view (54 degrees horizontal, 38 degrees vertical) closely mirrors the way the eye takes in a scene -- which is exactly why 35mm remains the default choice for street, documentary, travel, environmental portrait, and everyday shooting. At 198.6g and just 27mm long, the Ksana 35 is one of the smallest fast 35mm primes you can hang on a rangefinder body, so it balances naturally in the hand and never dominates the camera it is mounted on.

Optically, the Ksana 35mm pairs a vintage form factor with a thoroughly modern formula: 8 elements in 5 groups, including one aspherical (ASPH) element, one extra-low dispersion (ED) element and two high-refractive-index (HRI) elements. That combination delivers real sharpness and contrast across the 43.2mm full-frame image circle while keeping distortion and color fringing in check.
