Where nearly every other M-mount adapter relies on a passive internal leaf-spring to hold the lens, Thypoch uses a positive-lock mechanism borrowed from the PL-mount standard: a rotating active lock ring clamps the lens to the adapter, and a secondary safety lock reinforces the ring itself so the lens cannot be released until you deliberately disengage it. The result is a rock-solid, play-free connection that will not shift under a follow focus, a gimbal, or a hard handheld move - and will not let a lens fall off from an accidental bump.
