The Thypoch Simera-C 4-Lens Cine Kit puts four matched full-frame cinema primes - 28mm, 35mm, 50mm and 75mm, all at a constant T1.5 - into a single aluminum hard case small enough to travel as carry-on. Built around the compact rangefinder-lens heritage of the Simera photo line but re-engineered as true cine glass, each Simera-C prime is a manual-focus, manual-iris optic with a 210-degree focus throw, 0.8 MOD gear rings and a consistent iris and focus gear position across the set. Swap focal lengths and your follow focus, matte box and gimbal balance barely change - a genuinely fast working set for solo shooters, documentary crews and small narrative productions.
Optically the Simera-C series is built for modern high-resolution sensors. A 43.2mm image circle covers full-frame as well as Super 35 and APS-C, and the optical formulas mix aspherical, extra-low-dispersion and high-refractive-index elements with a floating group for close focus - 11 elements in 7 groups on the 28mm, 9 in 5 on the 35mm, 8 in 6 on the 50mm and 9 in 8 on the 75mm. Chromatic aberration is tightly controlled, contrast stays moderate rather than clinical, and the 16-blade rounded iris renders round, onion-ring-free specular highlights and a creamy, natural bokeh fall-off. Multi-layer vacuum coatings and an internal matte-black anodized finish keep flare and internal reflections in check, so backlit and mixed-lighting scenes hold their color and shadow detail.
Because each Simera-C lens is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and weighs roughly 400-450g, the whole four-lens kit is light enough for handheld rigs, gimbals and drones, and it is one of the few full-frame cinema prime sets compact enough to work comfortably on the DJI Ronin 4D. This kit ships in native Sony E mount, so it drops straight onto Sony FX and Alpha bodies with no adapter.
