The TRENDnet TEG-S80g 8-Port Gigabit GREENnet Mini Switch is an unmanaged Ethernet switch that expands a wired network with eight Gigabit ports and 16 Gbps of switching capacity. The current V5 hardware combines plug-and-play operation, energy-saving GREENnet technology, and a compact metal enclosure for straightforward desktop or wall-mounted network expansion.

Designed for offices, workstations, surveillance systems, entertainment setups, and small-business networks, the TEG-S80g connects computers, network storage, printers, cameras, media devices, and other Ethernet equipment without software configuration. All eight ports support Gigabit connectivity, while Auto-MDIX allows any port to accommodate compatible network or uplink connections without requiring a dedicated uplink port.

The fanless architecture eliminates operating noise and removes a mechanical cooling component, making the switch practical for desks, conference spaces, studios, and other noise-sensitive locations. Store-and-forward switching, a 4K MAC address table, 9KB jumbo frame support, and an 11.9 Mpps forwarding rate support efficient network traffic. The current V5 version is also identified by TRENDnet as NDAA and TAA compliant for the United States and Canada.
