The Triad-Orbit Precision SM-PM1 Drop-Pipe Mount Adapter Plate integrates standard 3/4" NPS straight-thread pipe into Precision speaker mounting installations. Designed for extended ceiling drops and wall-mounted extensions, the adapter creates a mechanical connection between drop pipe and compatible SM1 or UM1 mounting components.

Installers can use the SM-PM1 when a speaker must be suspended below a ceiling or projected farther from a wall than a direct mounting plate allows. Two SM-PM1 adapters are required for a complete pipe-mounted installation: one connects at the wall or ceiling side, while the second connects to the speaker-mount assembly.

The SM-PM1 slides into the Precision SM-WM1 wall and ceiling mounting plate and can thread into an SM-SW1 speaker swivel or SM-UM1 assembly. Its compact metal adapter plate measures approximately 3.4" x 5.3" with a 1" overall depth and weighs approximately 0.6 lb, providing a purpose-built interface for professional speaker mounting systems.
