TruAudio ULTRA12SUB UltraScape12 300W Outdoor Burial Subwoofer, 12 Inches

TruAudio ULTRA12-SUB UltraScape12 Outdoor Burial Subwoofer

The TruAudio ULTRA12-SUB outdoor burial subwoofer adds low-frequency reproduction to a compatible UltraScape12 landscape audio system. Its 12" dual-voice-coil driver operates in an underground enclosure with an exposed sound port. The manufacturer specifies 300W power handling, IP66 protection and support for up to two subwoofers per system.

Choose this landscape subwoofer when planning bass coverage for a patio, garden or outdoor gathering area. Burial installation reduces the amount of visible equipment, while vertical and horizontal configurations give installers placement options. For an existing UltraScape12 audio installation, check the amplifier, wiring arrangement and current component count before adding another subwoofer. Plan excavation and drainage around the selected location.

The two voice coils provide separate left- and right-channel connections within the supported system wiring. TruAudio instructs installers to use speakers from the UltraScape12 family and waterproof connections. The included silicone-filled wire nuts support those connections, while the ASA and HDPVC enclosure houses the driver below ground. Follow the installation manual for burial depth, drainage material and the required port clearance above the finished surface.
