The Yamaha CBW8 Boom Weight is a 27.6" weighted cymbal boom arm designed for extended cymbal positioning and larger crash cymbals. Its integrated counterweight supports long-reach setups, while a step-free cymbal tilter provides continuous angle adjustment for precise placement around acoustic and hybrid drum kits.

This long weighted cymbal boom arm gives drummers additional reach when arranging multiple cymbals or positioning heavier crashes farther from the stand. A Quick Release Nut speeds cymbal installation and removal while allowing adjustment of cymbal movement. The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer uses a two-part construction to alter resonance and sustain without replacing the complete mounting assembly.

The CBW8 is compatible with Yamaha CS8W and CS7 boom cymbal stands. Its Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer combines a soft foam-rubber outer section with a firmer silicone core, and the outer section can be removed for a different cymbal response. At 5.1 lb, the assembly provides substantial counterbalancing weight for demanding stage, rehearsal, and studio configurations.
