Designed for drummers who need an adjustable cymbal holder with long boom reach, the CH8 combines multiple positioning mechanisms in one assembly. The hinged boom tilter clamp grips the arm from three sides and incorporates a memory lock, while the boom can retract into the upper tube to create a straight cymbal holder for compact setups and transport.

A Quick Release Nut simplifies cymbal installation and removal while allowing control over cymbal movement. Yamaha's Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer uses a foam-rubber outer layer surrounding a firmer silicone core. Drummers can use the complete washer or remove the outer section to change the cymbal's resonance characteristics. Lower and upper tube diameters measure approximately 0.9" and 0.8", respectively.
