The Yamaha CH8S Cymbal Holder With Short Boom Arm adds compact, adjustable cymbal mounting to compatible double tom stands and tom holders. Its 6.7" boom arm, 16.9-21.7" adjustable height range, step-free tilter, and convertible boom mechanism give drummers precise placement without requiring a separate full-size cymbal stand.

Designed for close-range cymbal positioning, the CH8S combines several adjustment and setup features in one holder. A hinged boom tilter clamp secures the arm from three sides and incorporates a memory lock for repeatable placement. The boom also retracts into the upper tube, converting the assembly into a straight cymbal holder when a more compact configuration is preferred.

Yamaha equips the CH8S with a Quick Release Nut for faster cymbal mounting and removal. Its Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer uses a soft foam-rubber outer section surrounding a firmer silicone-rubber core. The outer section can be removed to change how the cymbal is supported. Lower and upper tube diameters measure approximately 0.9" and 0.8", respectively, while the complete holder weighs approximately 3.5 lb.
