Yamaha CK76 Stage Keyboard with 76 Semi-Weighted Keys

The Yamaha CK76 Stage Keyboard is a portable 76-key performance instrument combining acoustic piano, electric piano, organ, and synthesizer sounds. Its semi-weighted Future System Basic (FSB) keyboard provides expressive touch response, while physical drawbars, onboard effects, stereo speakers, and battery operation give musicians flexible performance options for stages, studios, rehearsals, and outdoor events.

Designed for keyboardists who need a versatile instrument for live performances, the CK76 combines a 76-note playing range with direct sound-shaping controls. Its 363 instrument voices include Yamaha CFX and S700 grand pianos, vintage electric pianos, organs, strings, brass, and synthesizer textures. Players can create layered arrangements, divide the keyboard into multiple playing regions, and adjust sounds using dedicated filter, envelope, and effects controls. Advanced Split Mode provides additional flexibility for assigning sounds across different keyboard zones. With its compact construction and built-in amplification, this portable stage keyboard with speakers works equally well for professional performances, practice sessions, and mobile music production.

Drawing on sound technologies associated with Yamaha's CP Stage Piano and YC Stage Keyboard series, the CK76 features AWM2 and AWM organ tone generation, 128-note polyphony, and nine physical organ drawbars. A four-zone MIDI master controller supports external hardware and software instruments, while the integrated USB audio interface provides stereo recording and playback capabilities. Bluetooth audio input, stereo analog inputs, and two assignable foot pedal connections further expand performance possibilities. Weighing approximately 14.8 lb without batteries, the CK76 delivers a practical combination of portability, extensive sound selection, and hands-on control for working musicians.

Key Features

Professional Piano, Organ, and Synthesizer Sounds

The CK76 uses Yamaha AWM2 technology alongside an AWM organ tone generator to reproduce a wide selection of keyboard instruments. Its sound library includes CFX, S700, and CF3 grand piano sounds, U1 upright piano tones, vintage electric pianos, and FM electric piano textures. Additional categories cover strings, brass, guitars, percussion, pads, and synthesizer leads.

Physical Organ Drawbars and Real-Time Controls

Nine dedicated drawbars allow players to modify organ registrations during performances. Five organ types provide different tonal characteristics, while rotary speaker simulation, percussion, vibrato, and chorus controls expand the available sound-shaping options.

Flexible Synthesizer Sound Design

Dedicated filter and envelope generator controls let musicians adjust the tonal character and response of synthesizer patches. Mono and Unison modes offer additional performance options for lead sounds, bass patches, and layered synthesizer textures.

Advanced Split Mode and Live Performance Control

The CK76 supports three independent sound parts that can be combined through keyboard splits and layers. Advanced Split Mode allows individual parts to be assigned across multiple note ranges, giving performers additional flexibility when creating complex arrangements. This makes it possible to combine sounds such as bass, electric piano, and synthesizer textures within a single performance setup.

Live Set functionality stores and recalls performance configurations, including sound selections, keyboard splits, layers, effects, and other panel settings. With 160 Live Set locations, including 80 factory presets, musicians can prepare and organize arrangements for rehearsals and performances.

Portable Keyboard with Built-In Speakers and Battery Operation

The CK76 includes two integrated stereo speakers powered by separate 6W amplifiers. This arrangement provides onboard sound reproduction for personal practice, rehearsals, and situations where external speakers are unavailable.

For mobile performances, the keyboard operates using eight AA alkaline or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries. AC operation is also supported through a compatible Yamaha PA-150B power adapter. The lightweight construction makes transporting the instrument between venues more manageable.

USB Audio, Bluetooth, and MIDI Integration

An integrated USB audio interface supports two-channel audio input and output at a 44.1 kHz sampling frequency. Musicians can exchange stereo audio with compatible computers and supported devices for recording, playback, and music production.

Bluetooth audio input allows compatible smartphones and other devices to stream backing tracks through the keyboard's sound system. Stereo analog inputs accommodate additional instruments or microphones, while MIDI input and output connections support external sound modules and controllers.

The four-zone MIDI master keyboard functionality enables performers to control compatible external instruments and software synthesizers. Two foot pedal connections provide additional control options for performance expression and sound adjustments.
