The Yamaha CS8W Boom Cymbal Stand is heavy-duty, double-braced drum hardware designed for stable and highly adjustable cymbal positioning. Its 16.9" boom arm, step-free tilter, Quick Release Nut, Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer, and boom-to-straight conversion system combine fast setup with flexible positioning for stage, studio, and rehearsal use.

Built for drummers who need a heavy-duty boom cymbal stand with extended reach, the CS8W adjusts from approximately 32.7" to 62.6" high. A hinged boom tilter clamp grips the arm from three sides and incorporates a memory lock for repeatable positioning. The boom arm also retracts into the upper tube, allowing the stand to operate in a straight configuration.

The Sound Enhanced Cymbal Washer combines a soft foam-rubber outer section with a firmer silicone-rubber core to change how the cymbal is supported. The outer section can be removed when a different response is preferred. Double-braced legs provide a stable base, while three telescoping tube sections measure approximately 1.1", 0.9", and 0.8" in diameter.
